Uganda's Highlights - 8 nights

With this 7 day itinerary you will have just enough time to see Uganda’s finest National Parks together with the countries full spectrum of wildlife, from mountain gorillas in Bwindi National Park to prides of lions on the Savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park.


Day Itinerary Accommodation Meals
1 Arrive Entebbe airport where you will be met by your driver / guide for the three hour drive to Lake Mburo. If your schedule allows there is time for afternoon safari activities such as game drives, canoeing or walking. Mantana Camp B
2 Morning safari activity at Lake Mburo. After breakfast, drive the approximately 7 – 10 hrs to Bwindi (estimation based on routing and road conditions). Depending on when you arrive there should be time for an evening walk in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Lake Kitandara Camp FB
3 Gorilla Tracking Day. Lake Kitandara Camp FB
4 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, game viewing en route to camp. Choose between an afternoon or evening boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel Hippo Hill Tented Camp FB
5 This morning you will be transferred to Chambura Gorge for a forest walk. You may be lucky to see wild chimpanzees in the forest. Spend the afternoon game viewing once again in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Hippo Hill Tented Camp FB
6 Transfer to Kibale. Afternoon visit to Bigodi Wetlands bird and primate sanctuary. Hippo Hill Camp FB
7 In the morning, track the habituated chimps in Kibale forest. The park authorities also offer optional night walks which are highly recommended. Kibale Camp FB
8 Transfer to Kampala. St Bruno Tented Camp FB
9 Transfer to Entebbe airport for departure.
